In November, Montreal will host the first edition of Montreal Video Game Week (SJVM), a new event entirely dedicated to local video game communities.
From November 10 to 16, the metropolis will vibrate to the rhythm of around fifteen activities open to all: independent game demos, game jams, networking evenings, audio summit, etc.

Designed as an inclusive space, the SJVM wants to bring together developers, players, studios and students around the same passion.
“Video Game Week was born from a common desire: to bring together and celebrate the richness of our communities. Montreal is full of inspiring initiatives, and this week will be an opportunity to make them shine together”, explains Émilien Roscanu, member of the organizing committee.
The initiative also highlights the central role of Montreal as the international capital of video games. It also coincides with the Montreal International Gaming Summit (MIGS), which will be held the same week and will attract industry pros from around the world.
